Khaleda Zia tests Covid-19 positive again, condition fine
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia tested positive for coronavirus again after she underwent another test on Saturday.

"BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has tested positive in the follow-up test," her personal physician Dr AZM Zahid Hossain told journalists after visiting Khaleda at her residence.

Khaleda along with four of her staffers tested positive on Saturday, Dr AZM Zahid added.

Khaleda Zia underwent a brand new Covid-19 test on Saturday to see whether she has recovered as she's been doing well without obvious symptoms, said her personal physician Dr Mohammad Al Mamun.

Dr Mamun said Khaleda's medical team can make a decision about her next treatment after they receive her Covid-19 test report.

"We first arranged the test for eight other people who were infected with the virus at Khaleda's residence in the morning, and for Madam in the afternoon," he said.

Khaleda's medical team member and party vice-chairman Dr AZM Zahid Hossain said the BNP chairperson's health is fine.

"Madam is now doing well. She has no obvious symptom of Covid-19," he said.

He said the BNP chief's body's temperature is normal. "Her breathing and oxygen saturation level are good."

Khaleda Zia underwent Covid-19 test on April 10 as eight persons at her residence were infected with the virus and her report came positive.
