Jhenaidah man held over hacking wife to death
A man allegedly hacked his wife to death in Sezia village under Moheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah Saturday (August 17) night.
Police detained Abdul Kuddus and sent the body of Firoza Khatun, 45, to Jhenaidah sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy Sunday (August 18) morning.
Moheshpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rashedul Alam confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
Abdul Kuddus had conflicts with his wife, he said.
