Man stabbed dead in Jhenaidah
A man was stabbed to death by his rival group at Basantopur village in Shailkupa upazila of the district.
The incident, stemmed from an argument into killing, happened over trivial matter around 7:30 am on Wednesday (April 17).
The deceased was, Ratan Mandol, 41, a resident of the abovementioned area.
According to local sources, the subject of the argument was fall of a tree over the bathroom.
"Police were sent to the spot. Legal action will be taken over the matter," Kazi Ayuib Rahman, officer-in-charge of Shailkupa police station, told Banglanews.
