Jaya plays lead role in 3D film 'Alatchakra'
National film award winner actress, model and producer Jaya Ahsan, who works in Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali films has recently wrapped up the shooting for her upcoming Bangladeshi project where she plays the role of the lover of Bangladeshi writer, thinker, novelist and poet Ahmed Sofa.
Directed by Habibur Rahman, it is Bangladesh's first 3D film titled 'Alatchakra', reports of Times Of India.Jaya will be seen as Tayeba in this 1971 Liberation War feature film, based on Sofa's renowned autobiographical novel by the same name.
The entire film is being shot in 3D in partnership with Skywork Studios from Mumbai. Jaya Ahsan had to complete the shoot for her entire role at one goes, due to her busy schedule.Acclaimed Bangladeshi actor Ahmed Rubel will be seen alongside Jaya playing the lead character of Daniel (Ahmed Sofa).
Mamunur Rashid, Azad Abul Kalam, Shilpi Sarker Apu, Nusrat Jahan Joiri, Syed Mosharrof, and many others will be seen in other roles.Coming back to Tollywood, the Bangladeshi actress will next be seen in Atanu Ghosh directed 'Bini Sutoy' opposite Ritwick Chakraborty. She will lend her voice to just one song from the entire list in 'Bini Sutoy'. The songs will be composed by Debojyoti Mishra.
