Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan bus driver remanded
A Dhaka court has granted a seven-day remand for the driver of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan in a case filed over the death of the two students on city’s Airport Road on July 29.
Metropolitan Magistrate AHM Tuah passed the order after Inspector of Detective Branch of police Kazi Tariful Islam produced Masum Billah before the court seeking 7-day remand on Wednesday (August 1).
According to prosecution, 2 students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College were killed as a bus of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan ran over 14/15 students on city’s Airport Road of July 29.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Karim, 16 and Diya Khanom Mim, 15.
Jahangir Alom, father of Diya Khanom Mim, filed the case.
