Students’ demands taken into consideration: Home Minister
Terming the protesting students’ demands logical, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said “We have taken your demands into consideration.”
The minister urged parents and teachers to take their children back home, to their classes, as an evil-minded group of people, after merging with students, are vandalizing vehicles and torching them.
The home minister made the remarks after holding a meeting with the representative of transport owners and workers and ministers at the secretariat on Wednesday (August 2).
He assured of exemplary punishment for convicts.
