Housing to become ensured pertaining to homeless after producing list: Obaidul
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said that housing would have to end up being ensured for the floating persons after building their list.
"Lists will be prepared for homeless to make sure their housing. Later, relief materials should be reached to them according to directives distributed by the Prime Minister," explained Obaidul.
The AL's sub-committee on relief distributed relief through its representatives at the party's Dhanmondi office on Thursday.
Obaidul Quader, also the street Transport and Bridges Minister, joined the programme through video conferencing.
He also said that garments factories around Dhaka have reopened on a restricted scale in concern with losing international market.
Owners have been asked to engage employees who stay static in Dhaka, he added.
The minister asked all to tackle the virus situation with courage and patience beneath the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
