Metro rail to open on December 16, 2021: Quader
The government has planned to inaugurate the much-hyped first-ever metro rail service in Dhaka on December 16 in 2021.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami Legate General Secretary Obaidul Quader was responding to question of a lawmaker of Chattogram-4 Didarul Alam tabled in the parliament on Tuesday (Jan 28).
Marking 50 years of independence of the country, the government has taken the initiative to inaugurate metro rail service on December 16 next year, the AL general secretary said.
