Hilsa catching starts in Bay of Bengal after 65 days of ban
A large number of fishermen from the coastal areas including Sharankhola can get heading toward the Bay of Bengal from Thursday midnight as being the 65 times of ban on angling will be lifted tomorrow.

The fishermen are taking previous time's preparations. The fishing villages have put on a festive mood.

Browsing Sharankhola Rajoir Fisheries Centre in Wednesday, it was found that a huge selection of trawlers were taking preparations to go in to the ocean. The fishermen were found busy with loading nets, fuel oil and other essentials with their trawlers. The seafood godown owners were identified busy with the fishermen about the reselling of their catches.

Bagerhat fishermen will start their journey in Thursday with the important equipment from Chila section of the Pasur river on Mongla of the district.

The fishermen of numerous areas in Mongla, Rampal, Dacope, Sharankhola, Paikgachha and Shyamnagar adjacent of Khulna will leave their localities on a single day.
