Heropanti 2 to be released on May 2022

Tiger Shroff on Sunday announced a new release date for his action drama 'Heropanti 2.' The film that was originally set to release theatrically on December 3, will now hit screens on 6 May 2022. Interestingly, the film will now clash with the big-ticket Marvel film 'Thor: Love and Thunder' that will star Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson. While Tiger announced his new release date on Sunday afternoon, Marvel had announced their release calendar for their superhero films, way back in May.

'Heropanti' is now the second Bollywood film that has picked a clash with a big ticket Hollywood release. Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty announced on Saturday that their cop-flick 'Sooryavanshi' will hit screens on Diwali 2021, a day that will also have Marvel's 'Eternals' arriving in cinemas. With Tiger now picking 6 May as his new release date, producer Sajid Nadiadwala announced that Ahan Shetty's debut film 'Tadap' co-starring Tara Sutaria will now fill in the vacant spot on 3rd December 2021. It will be followed by Ranveer Singh's sports film '83 on Christmas day. Akshay Kumar's 'Bachchan Panday' also postponed its release and has now picked 4th March 2022 for its theatrical release.
