I can be proud of my work, but ultimately it all depends upon the audience
In a career span of seven years, Vaani Kapoor has been a part of five films, and is currently shooting for two movies. The actress who hails from Delhi is happy to have gotten a great response from the industry as she learnt so much about acting and showbiz while on field. Starting off with featuring opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in her debut film Shuddh desi Romance in 2013, she went on to do movies starring Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar among others.

Ask Vaani with so much experience backing her, what she thinks of herself as an actress today and she opines, "My filmography is very limited and so I can talk on the basis of the very limited experience that I have. I will just say that I am still learning. I don't want to sound pompous or modest."

The actress whose forthcoming films include Shamshera starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui starring Ayushmann Khurrana thinks that she has a lot of potential to prove herself, but ultimately it all depends upon the audience when it comes to acceptance.

She explains, "I do have the potential. My inner voice always pushes me to do my best. The actors and directors that I have worked with have always given a pat on my back. They have appreciated my work and have said that I am good at my job. However, I can only be as good as what the audience think of me. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what I think of myself, but how the audience react to my work. I could feel very proud of who I am, or what work I do, but if I am not getting the same love from them then it is all void."
