Hatirjheel accident drama: Spouse confesses killing wife
Husband Sakib Alam Mishu has given confessional affirmation to courtroom in a circumstance filed in connection with the recovery of his wife Jhilik Alam's dead human body from a private car at Hatirjheel in the administrative centre.
Following his remand twice, investigation officer (IO) of the case made Sakib Alam in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Moinul Islam on Sunday. Afterward, the accused decided to submit confessional statement voluntarily and the IO pleaded to the courtroom to record his confessional statement. Recording the confessional declaration, the court dispatched the accused to jail.
Previously April 8, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahinur Rahman located the accused on a two-day remand and in April 4, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Debdas Chandra Adhikari located Sakib on a three-day remand.
It had been learnt that the few used to reside at a house at Street 36 of Gulshan-2. The accused husband told law enforcement that he and his wife got out of our home and boarded their private car. If they reached Ambagan area of Hatirjheel, their car acquired onto the roadside island following the husband lost control of the steering. In the automobile accident, partner Sakibul Alam received minimal injuries and his 23-year-good old wife Jhilik Alam was critically harmed. After he rushed his critically harmed wife to the crisis section of the Dhaka Medical School Medical center, doctors there pronounced her lifeless.
However, Jhilik's relatives alleged that hubby Sakib staged a drama simply by killing his wife. After, Jhilik's mother filed a circumstance with Gulshan law enforcement station alleging that her daughter was murdered.
