Hatil receives award to be highest vat paying company
The favorite furniture brand Hatil was crowned with the recognition of ‘Highest Vat Paying Company’ at a programme organised by Vat Commissionerate, Dhaka West at the recently concluded Dhaka International Trade Fair 2020 in the city.
Moshiur Rahman, Director Marketing, Hatil Complex Ltd, the parent company of the brand, received the honour with respect to the company from Masud Sadiq, Member (VAT Policy), National Board of Revenue (NBR).
Dr Moinul Khan, Commissioner, Customs Excise and VAT Commissionerate, Dhaka West and other high government officials were also present at the ceremony.
To note, it is the second consecutive year Hatil received the accolade.
Speaking on the occasion, Moshiur Rahman said, “We, as corporate citizens, value transparency and commitment over everything. As a responsible brand, we are mainly committed to this land and its law for the higher good of the economy. Besides, you want to create a culture of transparency which will eventually inspire our dealers, customers and in addition rivals to emulate.”
Hatil is fast learning to be a global brand with showrooms across countries and continents. In less than 3 years, they opened twenty showrooms across India. The brand also exports furniture to the united states, Canada, Australia, Middle East, UAE and Qatar.
