Gazipur garage owner hacked dead
A 55-year-old man was hacked to death by miscreants in Sreepur municipal area of Gazipur early Saturday.
Deceased Gias Uddin was who owns an auto-rickshaw garage on Kewa Natun Bazar spot.
Becoming informed, police recovered the body from the garage in early hours.
Deceased’s son Jafar Ali said his father slept at the garage yesterday evening.
The auto-rickshaw drivers came to the shop at early hours and called Jafar. Having no response from inside, they informed his family members.
Because they broke open the entranceway, the blood-strained body of Jafar was found inside garage.
Sreepur Police Station sub-inspector (SI) Kamrul Hasan said several injury marks were entirely on his body.
The body was delivered to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue.
