Four govt bodies get new DG
The government has appointed four officers of the rank of Additional Secretary as the Director General at its four bodies.
The Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (October 16) issued an order assigning them in new posts.
Alam Ara Begum, Additional Secretary of the Public Administration Ministry, has been appointed as Director General of the Directorate of Nursing and Midwifery.
Director General (Additional Secretary) of Directorate General of Jute Shamsul Alam was appointed as Director General of Manpower, Employment and Training Bureau.
Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Statistics Md Tajul Islam has been assigned as Director General of the Bureau of Statistics and Director of the Land Records and Survey Department (Additional Secretary) Md Shahjahan has been appointed as Director General of the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development, BARD.
