First of all consignment of hilsa delivered to India
The first consignment of hilsa was delivered to India through Beanpole port on Mon afternoon.
Khulna's Jahanabad Sea Seafood Limited has exported 12,000 kg of hilsa fish worth USD 1,20,000 to the united states.
The fish has been exported to India at USD 10 per kg.
Around 1,475 tonnes of hilsa will get exported to India while a goodwill gesture about the occasion of Durga Puja and the consignment of seafood will enter West Bengal of India through Petrapole border.
