First 40 minutes office-stay mandatory for govt officials
The government has given instructions to its officials and employees working on the field-level to stay first 40 minutes at office from 9am to speed up public services and avoid harm to ordinary citizens.
According to the order, some officers and employees were not present at their offices in due time showing excuse of official or personal reasons. As a result, it is impossible to establish the necessary connections between the officials and employees of the public and other organizations with the government officers and employees concerned. It hurts and slows government services as well as ordinary citizens suffer at lot.
'In the above perspective, the officers and staff working at the field level are being instructed that they must stay in their office rooms from 9am to 9:40am and carry out the normal duties of the office. While formulating the official program, it is important to ensure that those do not disrupt the office stay from 9am to 9:40am.
The order also added, the obligation will not be applicable when field level officers and employees provide VVIP or VIP protocols, dealing with any major accident, attending important meetings and approved traveling.
