Eid-ul Azha jamaats to be placed at mosques
Like Eid-ul-Fitr, the federal government has decided to contain the congregations for Eid-ul-Azha at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram instead of the Eidgah maidan.
Md Anwar Hossain, pr officer of Ministry of Spiritual Affairs, said the decision was manufactured in a virtual appointment at the secretariat on Sunday (July 12).
Distinguished clerics and spiritual figures of the country joined the meeting chaired simply by Spiritual Affairs Secretary Md Nurul Islam.
He said Eid jamaats will come to be held at mosques rather than outdoor spaces due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Muslim devotees were urged to perform Eid prayers with their near by mosques. Also everyone must follow the health guidelines properly while executing Eid jamaat at mosques.
