Cineplex brings two Hollywood films on Eid
Both the film had its worldwide release yesterday and Bangladeshi cinemagoers will be able to enjoy the film from the first day of these two film's international release, informed marketing officer of Star Cineplex Mesbah Uddin Ahmed. 'Mile 22' is directed by Peter Berg and written by Lea Carpenter, from a story by Carpenter and Graham Roland.
The film stars Mark Wahlberg, John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais, Ronda Rousey, and CL, and follows an elite CIA task force (composed of paramilitary officers from Ground Branch of Special Activities Division) that has to escort a high-priority asset 22 miles to an extraction point while being hunted by terrorists.
The film also marks the fourth collaboration between Berg and Wahlberg following 'Lone Survivor' (2013), 'Patriots Day', and 'Deepwater Horizon' (both 2016). On the other hand, 'Alpha' is an historical drama adventure film directed by Albert Hughes, with a screenplay by Daniele Sebastian Wiedenhaupt, from a story by Hughes.
The film stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Leonor Varela, and Jens Hultén, and follows a young hunter who befriends an injured wolf during the Ice Age.
