Dr Zafrullah to undergo kidney dialysis everyday
Coronavirus infected Ganashasthya Kendra's founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury will proceed through kidney dialysis each day.
Specialist physicians who have been looking into his treatment took your choice on Saturday night taking his overall physical condition into account.
Mohammad Farhad, public relations officer of Ganashasthya Kendra, confirmed it at about 9:30pm on Saturday.
It had been learnt that extra fluid was developed in Dr Zafrullah's body. He was facing difficulties in taking breathing. In such a situation physicians decided to conduct his kidney dialysis each day.
At about 9:40pm on Saturday, Ganashasthya Kendra's ceo Dr Manzur Qadir said Dr Zafrullah's health was improved somewhat though he had not been out of danger yet.
However, his kidney dialysis was conducted on Friday night and he was also given plasma therapy. His kidney dialysis was conducted again on Saturday. He was being given oxygen remedy for normal breathing. Though he used to go through kidney dialysis thrice weekly earlier, doctors have finally decided to conduct his dialysis each day.
Dr Manzur Qadir further said that Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury has been undergoing treatment under the frequent supervision of kidney experts Brigadier General Dr Mamun Mustafi and Professor Dr Najib at his own Ganashasthya Nagar Hospital at Dhanmondi in the administrative centre.
