Bangladesh reports 35 more fatalities
Bangladesh on Saturday reported 35 more deaths from novel coronavirus, raising the full total number to 846.
Meanwhile, the total cases reached 63,026 with the detection of 2,635 fresh cases within the last 24 hours.
Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Nasima Sultana confirmed the problem during daily online bulletin on coronavirus.
In the bulletin, she urged everyone to remain at home and follow medical guidelines issued by the DGHS and the World Health Organization in order to avoid the chance of the virus infection. She also requested persons to use masks outdoor and wash hands with soap.
Some 12,486 samples have been tested at 50 labs in the united states in the past 24 hours. Total 3,84,751 samples were tested till today.
As well, 521 more virus patients recovered, taking the full total recovery number to 12,325.
Of the dead, 28 were male while seven were female. And of these, 20 haied from Dhaka, eight from Chattogram, two from Sylhet, three from Rajshahi and two from Barishal.
Dr Nasima reiterated that men still take into account 71 percent of total infected in the country and 29 percent of these are women.
The global confirmed COVID-19 cases have exceeded 6.7 million globally, with over 394,787 fatalities, according to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University.
