Dithi Anwar gives her voice for film
Popular singer Dithi Anwar, daughter of legendary lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar, is not frequently seen to give her voice for play-back songs. But when she gave vocal for any play-back song that became popular. Last week, Dithi lent her voice for Nader Chowdhury's movie 'Jinn'.
Gazi Mazharul Anwar wrote lyrics of the duet song titled 'Nai Nai Nai Jinn Bhoot Nai'. Ahmed Kislu has composed its music. Close Up 1 star Kishore also gave his voice with Dithi in this song.
While talking about the song Dithi said, "I always feel comfortable to render melodious song. Basically with my father's interest I have rendered the song. Its lyrics and music compositions were really nice. Kishore has rendered well. I believe listeners will enjoy the song."
Dithi first lent her voice for play-back song in Gazi Mazharul Anwar-directed movie 'Ulka'. Later she also rendered several numbers of play-back songs. Now she is hosting a music related show 'Palki' on Channel i. She has already finished work of her father-written song titled 'Devdas'. Dithi also worked with Yousuf Ahmed Khan and Apu in two songs.
