Dhaka summons envoy as Myanmar mobilises troops in Rakhaine
Dhaka on Sunday expressed deep concern after Myanmar deployed additional troops in its Rakhaine express bordering Bangladesh.

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) observed suspicious movement of Myanmar troops aboard trawlers along the international border since Sunday morning hours.

In Dhaka, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday summoned the Myanmar ambassador to Bangladesh and handed over a letter of protest against mobilising troops along the border.

The ministry also asked the Myanmar authorities to avoid any provocative activities and come to negotiation table to resolve issues between your two countries.

However, it may be known evidently why Myanmar possesses mobilised additional troops around Mongdu community in Rakhaine state.

Myanmar deployed troops along the border after her military employees launched a good crackdown on Rohingya Muslims found in Rakhine found in 2017, forcing more than 7,40,000 people to take shelter found in Bangladesh.
