Lindex Baby Home focuses on organic cotton and recycled polyester

Lindex’s very popular baby assortment is being expanded to today include ‘Lindex Baby House’ - a playful residence collection for kids.

The home collection is manufactured out of organic and natural cotton and recycled polyester, and the cotton products are always GOTS authorized.

Having about 460 stores in 18 markets, Lindex can be an international fashion service with hq in Gothenburg, Sweden and features about 5,000 personnel. The business, notably, has 6 production offices in Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Myanmar and Turkey.

The collection includes soft bedding, practical storage baskets and decorative pennants, comfortable terry towels, cosy baby blankets, pillows and stuffed soft toys.

Both home collection and the infant clothes are designed based on 2 different unisex concepts: Colour Pops and Soft Dynamics.

While Soft Nature includes a sharp Scandinavian expression with a muted color spectrum and detailed habits, Colour Pops has a playful expression with colourful and bold styles.

The business claims that the whole assortment has a timeless design and is of high quality. The products are suitable for a playful day-to-day life and also have been designed to last a long time.

Inger Lundqvist, Style and Purchasing Supervisor for kidswear in Lindex says, “Lindex Baby Home is a welcome expansion of our baby assortment and similar to the baby garments, the home collection is constructed of organic and natural cotton and recycled polyester, and the cotton goods are often GOTS certified. Our Baby Home collection has the same lovely colour scale and patterns as our baby garments, which are much valued by our buyers.”

Lindex Baby Home comes in selected Lindex retailers with the infant assortment and on lindex.com from 30 January.

How recycled polyester is good for baby products, spokesperson of Lindex told Apparel Means, “Our baby assortment has been carefully developed in order that the products can be used as long as possible and can then be passed on to youthful siblings or a new baby. That requires not only a clever design, but also elements that are long-lasting. Polyester is usually a fibre with an extended lifetime. Even so, since polyester is definitely oil-based and created from non-renewable options, we are working to lessen the extraction from fossil options and instead get the waste from Family pet bottles to be more resource-efficient and have less climate influence in terms of fibre choice.”
