17 Bangladeshi fishermen held in Myanmar
Myanmar Navy detained 17 Bangladeshi fishermen after the boat had intruded into their territory on Thursday night (December 5).  Bangladesh Coast Guard is trying its best to bring back all the fishermen.

Myanmar Navy detained them from Saint Martin's Island under Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar as the engine of the boat got dysfunctional in last night.

Lieutenant Commander M Hamidul Islam, media officer of the Coast Guard, said: “Myanmar Navy is being contacted. BCB is making efforts to bring them back through discussion.”
