Debi will be screened on television
The much-talked-about film 'Debi', which has already earned wide appreciations from the audience both at home and abroad since its release, is now all set to have its television premiere on Maasranga Television soon.The film will be screened on Maasranga TV on two special occasions; first, on this year's Pahela Falgun (February 13) and second, on the upcoming Valentine's Day (February 14) at 7pm.
Debi, one of the most successful films released in 2018, has been running uninterruptedly for over 100 days at a number of cinemas across the country. The film is now available on Bioscope as well. 'Debi' is based on the popular novel of famous writer, playwright and director Humayun Ahmed with the same title which features his famous creation "Misir Ali" which is still popular among the Humayun fans in the country.
Directed by Anam Biswas, the film features psychiatrist Misir Ali's study of Ranu and her ESP powers. Chanchal Chowdhury, Jaya Ahsan, Iresh Zaker, Sabnam Faria and Animesh Aich respectively perform as Misir Ali, Ranu, Ahmed Saber, Nilu and Ranu's Husband Anis in the film.
About the movie's screening on Maasranga TV, actress Jaya Ahsan, also producer of the film, said, "As Maasranga TV is the broadcast partner of 'Debi', and they are going to offer the audience a chance to enjoy the film by sitting right at their homes. Those who have missed out watching 'Debi' at the cinema halls will have the chance to watch it on two consecutive days."
