Dawra-e-Hadith now equivalent to Masters
The cabinet has approved a draft law recognizing the certificate of Dawra-e-Hadith (Taqmil) from Qawmi madrasas as equivalent to certificate of master’s degree (Islamic Studies and Arabic).
The approval came from a regular cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on August 13.
Cabinet secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam made the disclosure to reporters after the meeting.
