Ctg gas cylinder explosion kills 7
Seven people were killed and at least 20 suffered bun injuries in gas pipeline explosion in Patharghata area of Chattogram city on Sunday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Kotwali Police Station OC Md Mohsin said the incident took place on the ground floor of a five-storey building around 9am, leaving 22 injured.
They were whisked off to Chattogram Meical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared seven dead.
Fire Service and Civil Defence team is conducting rescue operation.
