Corona cases cross 3,000; death toll reaches to 110
The quantity of novel coronavirus cases passed 3,000 with 434 new reported in last a day.
Nine more patients died with the virus during this time period, taking the toll to 110. Of the dead, five are male and four are female.
A total of 3,382 persons were infected with the virus till Tuesday (April 21).
Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), informed the figure at a normal online bulletin over COVID-19 today.
Meanwhile, two more patients have recovered from the virus infection. With this, a complete of 87 persons have, up to now, recovered.
The bulletin also informed that 2,978 samples have already been tested in last a day.
As much as, 29,578 samples were examined till today.
