Columnist Syed Abul Maksud passes away
Famous columnist, researcher and article writer Syed Abul Maksud passed on today in a city hospital on Dhaka at age 74.
He breathed his previous around 7:10pm at Square Hospital, his boy Syed Nasif Maksud confirmed the problem.
His father began to have respiratory challenges around 7:00pm plus they rushed him to the hospital where he later passed away, he added.
Syed Abul Maksud was awarded the Bangla Academy Award on 1995 for his contribution to Bengali literature.
