Cleaner held with gold bars, worth Tk 2cr, at Ctg airport
Customs officials detained a cleaner of Bangladesh Biman alongwith 36 gold bars, worth about Tk 2 crore, from Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Wednesday.
Customs office deputy commissioner Md Riadul Islam said, "The officials detained Md Iliyas with the gold bars, weighing over four kg, around 11:30am while he went out from 'flydubai' flight after cleaning it. They found the gold under his shoes."
A case has been filed in this connection.
