CCCLS organizes daylong event on film 'Boi Dekha'
Cadet College Club Literary Society (CCCLS) organized a day-long event on film titled 'Boi Dekha' at Cadet College Club Ltd (CCCL) in the capital's Gulshan on Friday. The theme of the event was film based on literature. 'Charulata', a film by Satyajit Ray based on Tagore story 'Noshtonir', was screened at the event.
The main speaker of the event was Satyajit researcher and filmmaker Anwar Hossain Pintu.Noted filmmaker Morshedul Islam, playwright Mamunur Rashid, filmmakers Shamim Akhter and Tauquir Ahmed, authorifilmmaker Shakoor Majid, media personality Abdun Nur Tushar, writer Miraj Ul Islam and music analyst Amit Mallik, among others, attended the event.
CCCL President Group Captain (retd) Muhammad Alamgir and Vice President Musleh Uz Zaman delivered their speeches at the programme.
Moderated by Mirajul Islam and Fatema Doza, Lit Society Chair Shakoor Majid and Lit Society Publication sponsor Naser Shahrear Zahedee gave vote of thanks at the event. Earlier, Lit Society also organized literary events like 'Kobitar Class' and 'Kotha Shahityer Koto Kotha' presented by key speakers Professor Azfar Hussain and Professor Syed Manzoorul Islam respectively.
