'Boycott Chinese products' advertising campaign continues
The campaign to boycott Chinese products continued following the violent face-off at Galwan Valley in Ladakh previous month. On Sunday, Shekhar Gupta, a interpersonal activist, joined the campaign. He distributed 'Made-in India' products to the needy with an aim to spread the knowing of using domestic products.
Gupta said, "By boycotting Chinese-made goods and adopting Indian-made items, we will create employment in the united states." The traders' human body in India recently condemned the Galwan clash and released a flagship plan "Bhartiya Samaan, Hamara Abhiman" to boycott Chinese things.
The Confederation of most India Traders (CAIT) had issued a list of 500 what to be boycotted from categories like FMCG products, consumer durables, toys, finished fabrics, textiles, builder hardware, footwear, apparel amongst others.
Earlier, traders in New Delhi protested against China-made products and needed boycott of Chinese items. Several political leaders have also urged people to adopt 'swadeshi' (indigenous) goods. "I urge my siblings to demolish China economically," explained Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
