Bhutanese PM ‘purely’ involves join celebration: Momen
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen on Tuesday said Bhutanese Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering came here just simply ‘purely’ join the Bangladesh’s ongoing celebration who has to take 21 a day-quarantine after going back to Thimbu.
“He will get the sacrifice of a 21-day quarantine limited to showing respect to Bangabandhu … that is uncommon to obtain such friend like him … we are proud of (having friend like him),” he said after calling on Bhutanese prime minister at InterContinental Resort in the afternoon.
Dr Lotay arrived today at a three-evening official visit to join people of Bangladesh in the celebration of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of the independence of Bangladesh.
Through the meeting, the overseas minister said, they talked about enhancing connectivity between Bangladesh and Bhutan through weather and railway to reap monetary benefits mutually.
Referring to Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina, the International Minister said the entire region includes a huge probable of development if connectivity and partnership happen to be ensured among the South Asian nations.
The Bhutanese Primary Minister considers Bangladesh as his second house where he embraced his dream of learning to be a doctor and learned the traits of saving lives.
On Wednesday, Lotay Tshering is scheduled to meet up Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Primary Minister’s Office (PMO) and it'll be by bilateral talks.
The Bhutanese Primary minister will pay a courtesy ask President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban.
Later, found in the afternoon, Lotay Tshering will join the celebration in National Parade Square seeing that the guest of honoor. Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina will receive him there.
