Bashundhra Group’s King Brand Cement distributes assist in Saidpur
The King Brand Cement of the Bashundhara Group has kept continue their distribution of essential commodities among the helpless people, who are actually unemployed as a result of coronavirus outbreak.
Different food items and sanitizer were distributed among 200 persons at Babu Para of Saidpur in Nilphamari on Saturday (April 4) noon.
King Brand Cement’s Distributor of Saidpur of Niphamari Subrata Kumar Rudra presided over the occasion while Bashundhara Group’s divisional sales manager Zillur Rahman, Area Sales Manager Moniruzzaman were present in the event.
The low income persons are facing difficulty following the closure of country's public and private organisations in a bid to contain coronavirus spread.
Besides, the government, the King Brand Cement with respect to the Bashundhara Group has extended its helping hand to the helpless and destitute people of the country at the same time if they are spending days with starvation.
Different essential commodities including rice, dal, potato, salt, oil, soap, flour and sanitizer were distributed among 5,000 persons in eight northern districts with respect to the Bashundhara Group.
The distribution of commodities has been started since Tuesday of the the other day in those districts.
Divisional Sales Manager Zillur Rahman said, “Bashundhara Group can be an organisation which is working for the country and its own people. With respect to the King Brand Cement, something of Bashundhara Group, we are raising awareness including social distancing among the destitute persons of the country and assisting them with necessary aid.”
An impoverished woman named Shefali Akhter said, “We are starving as we are not being able to go outside. We are happy enough as Bashundhara Group has stood beside us at this moment.”
