Bangladesh considers launching sea cruise to Maldives
Bangladesh and Maldives are considering to launch ocean cruise between the two countries. Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina on February 17 expressed ocean cruise services can be presented between Bangladesh and Maldives in the winter season.
The premier said this while the High Commissioner of Maldives to Bangladesh Shiruzimath Sameer paid a courtesy call at Ganabhaban in the capital, according to a press statement by the Primary Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Jahid Tusher following the meeting.
The premier further urged the Bangladeshi nationals surviving in Maldives to take Covid-19 vaccine.
In response, the Excessive Commissioner explained her country has already started vaccination of the labourers working in Maldives as they have already been playing a substantial role in the socio-monetary development of the united states.
Shiruzimath Sameer also informed Sheikh Hasina that college students of Maldives have already been pursuing academic education on medical sciences found in Dhaka, Chattogram and various elements of Bangladesh for long.
The Primary Minister mentioned said her government is giving vaccines to the teachers first and they'll vaccinate the students.
Since there are various open public engineering universities and colleges, medical schools, aviation university, and maritime university in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina called after the Maldivian college students to come in good sized quantities for study purposes.
She also urged Maldivian businessmen to create spend money on agriculture and agricultural things, fisheries, leather and leather products, ceramic, medicine and information technology industries.
The Maldivian envoy mentioned her country’s keen interest to increase trade and commerce with Bangladesh. She has sought purchase from Bangladesh in a new metropolis being built at Male Island, she added.
Shiruzimath praised the Bangladeshi government’s work to relocate Rohingyas to Bhashan Char found in a proceed to better accommodate them and protect the forest and environment of Cox’s Bazar appearing polluted greatly.
Prime Minister’s Office Secretary Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah and Army Secretary to the Prime Minister Major Standard Naquib Ahmed Chowdhury were also present at the conference.
