Bangladesh approves emergency utilization of Johnson & Johnson vaccine
The Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) has issued emergency use authorisation (EUA) to Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 vaccine in the united states.
With this, a complete of six vaccines got approval in Bangladesh for emergency use.
A press notification signed by DGDA Director General Major General Md Mahbubur Rahman on Tuesday revealed the approval of the Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 vaccine produced by Belgium.
According to the Johnson & Johnson, the COVID-19 single-dose vaccine works with with standard vaccine storage and distribution channels easily of delivery to remote areas.
The vaccine is estimated to stay stable for two years at -4°F (-20°C), and no more than 90 days at routine refrigeration at temperatures of 36-46°F (2 to 8°C).
