Bangabandhu's biopic: Shooting starts in January
The filming of a biopic on Daddy of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is defined to begin from January 2021, that was previously postponed as a result of ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.The yet to be named Bangladesh-India jv, commemorating the birth centenary of Bangabandhu, is set to be directed by noted Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal.

It was at first scheduled to commence filming in March this year in Bangladesh that was postponed because of COVID-19, the first stage of shooting has been re-scheduled and now all set to commence in January 2021 found in Mumbai, India - according to Bangladesh Film Development Company (BFDC) Managing Director Nuzhat Yasmin.

Artists who are actually nominated to take up significant characters found in the film have previously received confirmation texts from the director and getting ready to join the primary stage of shooting on their respective due dates found in Mumbai.Regarding to a set of the generally selected cast to get the biopic published by BFDC in March this year, the biopic will offer actor Arifin Shuvoo in the name position of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Dighi will respectively portray the elder and young variants of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's wife Fazilatunnesa Mujib (Renu), while Nusrat Faria will play the position of a younger type of Sheikh Hasina and Jannatul Sumaiya will portray the purpose of elder Sheikh Hasina.

Eminent actress Dilara Jaman will take up the position of Bangbandhu's mom Sahera Khatun, actor Khairul Alam Sabuj will portray as Bangabandhu's father Sheikh Lutfor Rahman, Shahidul Alam Sachchu as Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Huq, Ferdous Ahmed as Tajuddin Ahmed, Tauquir Ahmed as Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy, Tushar Khan as Tofazzal Hossain Manik Miah, Fazlur Rahman Babu as Khandakar Moshtaq Ahmed and Misha Sawdagor as Aiyub Khan, amongst others.Dilara Zaman will join the shooting on January 26, while Khairul Alam Sabuj is scheduled to wait the shooting on January 30. Additional actors and associates may also be a part of the filming pursuing their respective schedules around that time.

The screenplay of the joint venture of Bangladesh and India will be compiled by Atul Tiwari and Shama Zaidi, while Shyam Benegal's girl Piya Benegal and Indian art director Nitish Roy is being the costume and art director of the film.Director and cinematographer Mohammad Hossain Jaimy may be the line producer of the Bangladeshi device and noted director Giasuddin Selim is linked to the film due to the dialogue coach.
