Bangabandhu T20: Cricketers’ corona test on Nov 20
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials said that they can start the coronavirus testing of the cricketers from November 20 because they are envisioned to enter the bio-bubble from the following day prior to the Bangabandhu T20 Cup.
BCB is expected to implement 3 layers of bio-bubble in the tournament as earlier it had been only two layers that was compromised with resort and stadium while these times, Krirapalli will come to be included as the lands man is expected to stay there.
BCB had created 3 categories with the ‘A Category’ involving players and match officials ‘B Category’ comprising of broadcasters and ‘C Category’ for groundsmen.
BCB Chief Medical professional Debashish Chowdhury told The Daily Sunlight on Wednesday that the ground flooring of the academy premises will be used as an isolation center during the tournament.
“We can do the corona check of the cricketers in November 20. They are anticipated to enter the resort on November 21,” advised Debashish.
“The first floor of the academy will be used as isolation center as the second floor will be utilized for alternative activities,” he said.
“The players are anticipated to stay in Resort Sonargaon while broadcasters will remain in Lakeshore and the groundsmen and cleaners will either stay in KriraPalli or where they are staying now,” he said.
