Badda mob beating: 2 more suspect arrested
Police have arrested two more suspect in the case filed over killing of a woman in a mob beating in city's Badda area.
Badda Police Station OC Rafiqul Islam said, they nabbed Kamal and Abul Kamal Azad from Badda area on Monday night.
Police will produce before a Dhaka court on Tuesday, he said, adding that the arrests were made after watching a video footage.
Six people have, so far, been arrested in this connection, the OC confirmed.
Earlier, Bachchu Miah, Bappi, Shahin and Jafar were arrested in this connection. Among them, Bachhu Mia, Bappi and Shahin have been taken four-day remand.
On July 20, guardians took Taslima Begum Renu to the head teacher's room of a government primary school for questioning on suspicion that she was an abductor when she had gone to the school at North Badda.
Angry locals, who gathered outside, later, snatched her away and lynched her.
Police responded immediately but the woman died before they arrived.
