Another accused Rabiul remanded
Rabiul Islam, another accused in Sylhet MC College gang rape case, has been located on a five-day remand.
Sylhet Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Saifur Rahman passed the remand order on Monday.
Earlier,investigation officer of the case Shah Paran police OC Indranil Bhattachariya produced Rabiul prior to the court seeking seven days' remand for him.
With this, three accused in the event were remanded by the court.
The same court, earlier in the day, positioned accused Saifur Rahman and Arjun Laskar on a five-day remand each.
On September 25, a woman was gang raped allegedly by several BCL activists at MC College while visiting there with her husband.
The BCL men forcibly took the couple to the school hostel at Tilagarh area at about 8:30pm, tying the husband and raped the wife.
