Ex-Sylhet mayor Kamran tests positive for corona, hospitalised
Former Sylhet City Corporation mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran has tested positive for novel coronavirus.
He has been admitted to Sylhet Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital on Saturday following deterioration of his condition.
Kamran's elder son Arman Ahmed Shiplu, deputy director of Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College and Hospital, said his father was taken up to the hospital with high fever. He also sought doa to all or any.
His sample was tested at the PCR-lab of Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital on Friday where Kamran was found positive, said Himangsu Lal Roy, deputy director of the hospital.
Previously May 27, his wife Asma Kamran tested coronavirus positive.
