A tribute to Ayub Bachchu
By releasing a new song titled 'Tumi Chile Prerona' on its YouTube channel, Gaanchill--a popular music label in the country--has paid tribute to legendary rock musician Ayub Bachchu (AB) on his first death anniversary on Friday.
'D Rockstar'-famed singer Shuvo, who was introduced to the country's music world by Ayub Bachchu, has lent his vocal to the song while talented musician Fuad Almuqtadir is behind its music direction.
Asif Iqbal, the lyricist of the song and music adviser to Gaanchill said, "Everybody knows Ayub Bachchu's contribution in our music industry.
I wrote the lyric of the song on the day he left us and Fuad too composed the music on the same day. AB had contribution in Shuvo's emergence; likewise, he had contribution that helped me to be a lyricist. AB was an inspirational figure to Fuad. So, overall it is a very special song to us."
