78 Bangladeshis on Interpol's red alert list
A complete of 78 Bangladeshi nationals have already been put into the red alert list of the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL).

Among them, two human being traffickers were arrested in recently.

Bangladesh sought assistance from INTERPOL to arrest international human traffickers after 26 Bangladeshis were killed in Lybia this past year. Upon request, the international police group issued reddish alert for the arrest of six human traffickers. 

Later two of these were arrested. These were identified as- Shahdat Hossain from Madaripur, and Zafar Iqbal from Kishoreganj. 

Shahdat was arrested by participants of Criminal Investigation Section (CID) of Police from Dhaka airport terminal while Zafar was arrested in Italy. 

According resources of Bangladesh Police, individual traffickers shot dead 26 Bangladeshis in Mizdah community in Lybia in May this past year. A circumstance was filed soon after in this connection where six persons were accused incorporating Sahadat and Zafar. 

The others four accused are- Mintu Mia, Swapon, Nazrul Islam Molla, and Tanjirul. INTERPOL issued reddish colored alert for their arrest in November last year.

So far, 78 Bangladeshi criminals are in the red alert set of INTERPOL. More than a few convicted fugitive killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, war criminals, fugitive accused of 21 August grenade attack case are also among them.
