3 killed in Dhaka road mishaps
Three people were killed in separate road accidents in capital Dhaka within a span of eight hours till Sunday night to early Monday morning.
Among the deceased, two were identified as Razzak, 46, and Zahidur Rahman Dudu, 45, hailed from Naogaon, reports a Bangla news portal.
In Banani, a bus hit an unknown young man, aged around 27, in front of the Army Stadium around 6:00am on Monday when he was crossing the road, leaving him critically injured
The man was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead, said Banani Police Station sub-inspector Md Yusuf.
Rupnagar Police Station inspector (investigation) Md Golam Rabbani said two businessmen Razzak and Dudu received serious injuries when a vehicle hit their motorcycle around 10:00pm on Sunday.
They were taken to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared them dead.
