3 killed in bus-microbus collision
Three persons were killed and nine others sustained injuries following a collision between a bus and a microbus in Kishoreganj Sadar upazila on Friday (January 3).
The accident happened at Obiler Bazaar area on Domar-Panchagarh road at around 7 am.
Two of the deceased were identified as Jahurul Islam, 65, of Jaldhaka upazila of Nilphamari, his sister Anwara Begum, 57. Police believe all the injured are from the same area.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kishoreganj Police Station Harun-Ar-Rashid confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
The injured were taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
