20 burnt in microbus gas cylinder blast
At least 20 people, including three children, were burnt in a fire caused by an explosion of a microbus gas cylinder in Patiya upazila of Chattogram on Tuesday night.
Local people said a covered van hit a microbus from behind in front of PTI Training Centre around 10:30pm when the microbus passengers were returning home from Shah Amanat International Airport.
All of them were admitted to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital's burns unit, said nayek Abdul Hamid at the CMCH police outpost.
They were kept under close observation for 24 hours.
Some victims suffered over 25 percent burn injuries.
