2 motorcyclists killed in Dinajpur accidents
Two motorcyclists were killed and another injured in separate accidents in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur Sunday (May 5).
The deceased were identified as Akash, 33 and Shajahan Ali, 31.
Bhabanipur Police Investigation Center (IC) Sub-Inspector (SI) Aktarul Karim confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
A goods-laden truck rammed a motorcycle in front of Bhabanipur Degree College on Parbatipur-Fulbari Road, leaving Akash dead on the spot and Robin injured, around 7:30pm.
Robin was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in a critical condition.
Earlier in the day, another truck rammed a motorcycle leaving Shajahan Ali dead on the spot, in Telipara area of the same road.
Shajahan Ali was a resident of Monnothpur union of Parbatipur.
Police seized the truck and detained its driver.
