Road accident kills 7 in 3 districts
At least 7 people were killed in separateroad accidents in Rajshahi, Bagerhat and Laksmipur district on Thursday.

The first accident took place in Mirganj area under Bagha upazila of Rajshah when a bus of Rajshai-bound 'Rabbi Enterprise' and a human hauler collided head-on.

It left three dead including two women and 12 other injured.

The deceased were identified as Hanif (bus helper), Monowara and Amena Begum of the same upazila.

The officer-in-charge, Mohsin Ali of Bagha upazila confirmed this to be happened at 6am adding that the injured were sent to Charghat Upazila Health Complex.

The another accident took place in Bagherhat’s Rampal upazila today on Khula-Mongla highway that left 3 people dead and 6 more injured. The victims were died on spot when a Mongla-bound truck hit the human hauler at upzila’s Chairman area.

Only two of the dead were identified as Shohag Sheikh (35) and Sanjit Roy (47).

The Highway officer-in-charge Rabiul Islam confirmed this.

And the other accident that snatched a life took place in Laksmipur Sadar’s Tehmoni area on Thursday.

It happened when a truck hit the auto-riksha including three more auto-riksha that left 2 more people injured.

The deceased was identified as Dukhu Mia, a resident of Ramganj upazila of the district.

Confirming this matter the Laksmipur Sadar Police Station Inspector Solayman told, the injured, Nur Hossen and Ibrahim, were sent to Laksmipur Sadar Hospital. The truck was seized, however the driver along with his helper ran away.
