2 killed in Chandpur road crash
Two passengers were killed and five others injured as two auto-rickshaws collided in Shahrasti upazila of Chandpur on Saturday evening (September 15).
However, the identities of the deceased could not be known yet. One of the injured was taken to Cumilla Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
Locals said the incident took place in Meher area of the upazila around 6:30pm leaving two dead on the spot.
Shahrasti police station officer-in-charge (OC) Shah Alam said, on information, police recovered the bodies to Shahrasti upazila health complex. The auto-rickshaws were also seized.
